Our Story
Founded in 2018, Harewood Asset Finance may be a new business, but comes with a wealth of industry experience in its Senior Partners, Alastair Roberts and Andy Herridge. Having over 20 years experience in finance and leasing between them, Alastair and Andy can advise and guide you regardless of size and scale of the project. They are very much a unique pairing and have a variety of experience between them. Alastair very much coming from a Automotive and Equipment finance background and Andy coming from a Management and Golfing background. In fact Andy’s golfing background is one of the reasons for the development of Harewood Golf, our specific funding solution arm for the golf sector. His knowledge and experience of running Golf Clubs enables us to have a sympathetic approach in to projects in this sector. It has also enabled us to build some great relationships with our finance partners to understand this marketplace and how and why finance can very much be a benefit.

Alastair Roberts - Partner
Alastair has a wealth of experience within the finance and leasing sector. Having graduated from York University in 1998 with BA Honours in Politics, he went straight to work the next day for Volkswagen York. Spending 16 years within the group and moving from VW to Audi, gaining numerous promotions from Sales Person to Sales Manager during this period. Alastair then moved to an independent finance company where his skills evolved further into the equipment funding sector. Logical thinking to finance solutions is what stands Alastair out from the crowd and why we are delighted he is a Partner here at Harewood Asset Finance. He lives locally to our head office in rural North Yorkshire, is married to Sarah and the proud Father of his Daughter Megan. Alastair enjoys fishing and shooting and is a keen gardener, he can often be found relaxing in these environments.

Andy Herridge - Partner
Andy's experiences involve heavily around the golf industry, previously being a touring professional and holding the European record for the lowest round by a Professional in a tournament. He is still a PGA 'AAT' Professional and a member of the Golf Club Managers Association. He currently sits on the committee of the PGA in Yorkshire and specialises into looking at the opportunities and finance facilities within the golf industry. Andy also offers a full consultation service for golf clubs that maybe looking at renovation/refurbishment projects, both within the clubhouse or out on the course. Having experience in both these areas from his time managing golf clubs. Also living in North Yorkshire, he is married to Gemma and has 3 children Autumn, Poppy and Hugo. He still enjoys getting out on the course when possible, so if you fancy a game and a chat about finance opportunities, then just give him a call.
