New Sponsorship for Harrogate Towns Joe Cracknell

Harewood Asset Finance LLP have agreed to sponsor Harrogate Town Goalkeeper Joe Cracknell until the end of the season. Joe is currently understudy to James Belshaw but has recently been impressing in training. He was signed in August 2017 from Bradford City and at just 23 years of age has a lot of football yet to play. Cracknell helped Bradford’s U21 side to a title win in 2015/16 before a loan move to Bradford Park Avenue was arranged after the goalkeeper had agreed a one-year extension with the club up to the end of the 2016/17 season.

Harrogate Town on the other hand currently sit top on the Vanarama Conference North League on equal points with Salford City, but with a more impressive goal difference. “It’s a fantastic time to be able to support a local football club and especially when they are doing so well.” said Andy Herridge, Partner at Harewood Asset Finance LLP. “I have followed Harrogate Town closely for the last 3 years and have had a good relationship with the club over this time, this is our way of repaying that relationship slightly. We wish Irving (Weaver – Chairman), Simon (Weaver – Manager), Joe and the rest of the squad all the best for the remaining games and are looking forward in getting down to the CNG Stadium to watch a couple.”

This news follows on from the breaking news last week that Harewood Asset Finance LLP had agreed a deal to sponsor Yorkshire County Cricket Clubs Adam Lyth for the 2018 season. Founded in 2018, Harewood Asset Finance may be a new business, but comes with a wealth of industry experience in its Senior Partners, Alastair Roberts and Andy Herridge. Having over 20 years experience in finance and leasing between them, Alastair and Andy can advise and guide you regardless of size and scale of the project. They are very much a unique pairing and have a variety of experience between them. Alastair very much coming from a Automotive and Equipment finance background and Andy coming from a Management and Golfing background. In fact Andy’s golfing background is one of the reasons for the development of Harewood Golf, our specific funding solution arm for the golf sector. His knowledge and experience of running Golf Clubs enables us to have a sympathetic approach in to projects in this sector. It has also enabled us to build some great relationships with our finance partners to understand this marketplace and how and why finance can very much be a benefit.
